March’s Collection - LifePoints


Sunday, 3/10

  • Morning Service - A shortened service followed by a summary of the elder conference
  • Lunch Provided by Josh Maher and Ty and Sara Schick


Small Group Gatherings - We would like to encourage everyone to get involved in our small group get togethers. There are only 2 a year and it's a great way to build relationships and get to know others from our church. Singles, married, older and younger, all are welcome including children! Regardless if you have participated in the past, you must sign up every year. Please sign up on the bulletin board at church by March 24th.


Tuesday, March 12th 

  • Fellowship Hall cleaning - morning 8:30-12 AND evening 6pm - 8pm   
  • We will be cleaning the kitchen in the morning.  We would appreciate anyone coming out to help during that time. If we have enough help for the kitchen, we will also start cleaning the folding chairs.In the evening we will do the rest of the cleaning from 6-8.  We would appreciate several men to bring ladders as we will be cleaning the light fixtures.


Wednesday, March 13th

  • Family Night - Scripture Memory Program -  Please come support our K-5th graders as they share the Bible verses they have learned this year.  Pizza will be served at 6:00 in the church dining room.  At 6:45 congregational singing will begin, and the program will start at 7:00.  Please sign-up for the pizza supper on the following link: https://www.PerfectPotluck.com/HHTY6091


Friday, 3/15 and Saturday, 3/16 - 

  • Annual Church Cleaning - Church cleaning this year will be on Friday, March 15th from 9am-noon and Saturday, March 16th from 9:00am - 3:00pm.
  • There will NOT be any cleaning scheduled for Monday day or evening - note this is a change from previous years with the goal of getting more needed participation from our church family. 
  • There will be a snack served Friday morning and lunch served on Saturday. We encourage all those able to assist to come out to help. If you can’t come for the whole time, any length of time would be helpful and appreciated.
  • There is a sign up list on the bulletin board to donate food for the church cleaning lunch on Saturday.


Sunday, 3/17 - Easter Sunday School Program during second service. As was done for the Christmas program, the Sunday School students will be eating lunch before the congregation to allow for them to return to their classrooms to prepare for the program.

Lost and Found - Please check the lost and found table for any items that may belong to you. Any items not claimed by March 24 will be donated.


Looking Ahead

  • Wed 3/20 - shortened service followed by Judie Bittner’s testimony - all are welcome
  • Friday, 3/29 - Good Friday Service (No Wednesday night service)
  • Sunday 3/31 Easter Sunday
  • 7:15 - Early morning worship service with The Prairie Choristers and Youth Choir

  • 9:30 - Sunday School and Sunday service - There will be no lunch or 11:30 service.
  • 4/13-14 - Testimonies and Baptisms are scheduled.
  • Sunday, 4/14 - Communion at 6:00 pm.

Other Ways to Learn and Serve

  • The 2024 Midwest Food Bank On-line Auction will be held April 11-12 with the Gala Dinner and Live Auction on Saturday April 13. Tickets for the Gala Dinner are $75 each and tables for up to 8 can be reserved. Please contact Jon or Jill Fehr for tickets.
