Local Ministries - Youth

Sunday School

Teachers are elected by the congregation and instruct children 3-year old – high school seniors through Bible story books or the Bible itself.  Students and teachers will participate in singing before and after the lesson.

Students also participate in a variety of mid-week or other extracurricular activities (VBS, SMC, ACTIVE, HOPE, WOW, ACYF) although there is typically a different set of volunteer teachers for these.

Sunday School meets Sunday mornings during the first church service, September – June

Vacation Bible School

VBS is a week long event for all Sunday School students and is held the first full week in June.

Students from 3 year old through 7th grade are split up by age ranges and rotate through stations as teachers present the theme of the week through classroom instruction, crafts, skits, and singing.

Students from 8th grade (incoming freshmen) through high school senior are in the sanctuary where various visiting ministers will teach the theme of the week.
