Apostolic Christian Church
Teachers are elected by the congregation and instruct children 3-year old – high school seniors through Bible story books or the Bible itself. Students and teachers will participate in singing before and after the lesson.
Students also participate in a variety of mid-week or other extracurricular activities (VBS, SMC, ACTIVE, HOPE, WOW, ACYF) although there is typically a different set of volunteer teachers for these.

VBS is a week long event for all Sunday School students and is held the first full week in June.
Students from 3 year old through 7th grade are split up by age ranges and rotate through stations as teachers present the theme of the week through classroom instruction, crafts, skits, and singing.
Students from 8th grade (incoming freshmen) through high school senior are in the sanctuary where various visiting ministers will teach the theme of the week.
Teachers work with Kindergarten through 5th grade students to commit Bible verses to memory by setting them to music. There is also an object lesson presented that is related to the verse being taught.
SMC meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights, October –April.

Teachers work with 6th - 8th grade boys on monthly service projects to encourage the students to serve their church family and surrounding community.
Students also participate in monthly topical study/discussion to promote spiritual growth.
ACTIVE meets the 1st and 3rd Wed. night of the month, September – April

Teachers work with 6th - 8th grade girls on the importance of service others in the community, church, and world.
The group aims to build a safe and positive peer group and are encouraged in Biblical values such as modest, friendship, respect, and purity.
HOPE meets the 1st and 3rd Wed. nights, September – April

Teachers work with high school students to build and foster lasting relationships as the students grow up and graduate. The evenings will typically start and end with praise and worship singing and guests are invited to attend to share a testimony, story, or topic to high school students to try to make God, the Bible, and a Christian walk of life a little more applicable.

American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a Christ-centered character and leadership development scouting program for girls 5 to 18 years of age. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. The girls can grow in their faith, serve in their community, experience new adventures, and have so much fun doing it!

Trail Life is a Christ-centered, boy-focused outdoor adventure program for boys ages 5-17 to produce godly and responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. Our mission is to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.
