• Sunday School Begins - Let us remember to keep the students and teachers in our prayers throughout this new Sunday School year.

We finished in the cemetery for the season. There will be no more gravestone work until the Wednesday after Memorial Day 2025. Thanks to all for a very successful summer work project, hope to see you all next year.

Communion at the Home will be on Sunday 9/15 at 1:30

There are some Berean Prison Ministry Bible Studies ready to be graded.  They are on the table in the North Hall.

Young Group:

• Tuesday, 8/27 - Sing at Roanoke Nursing Home at 7pm.
• Friday, 8/30
• SALT Topical Study at Wyatt Gerber’s at 7:00 pm

Looking Ahead:

• Men's Steak Dinner on Friday September 20 at Stephen & Susan Bertschi's land. All men high school age and older are welcome to attend! Come anytime after 5 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm. • Ladies Day will be on Saturday, September 21, from 8:45 to noon. The topic will be "Slaying Our Giants" and all ladies high school age and up are invited. Please sign up on the bulletin board or the following sign up link. Ladies Day Sign Up 

National Church

• The second annual adoption/foster families support day, Grafted Gathering, will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024. • Apologetics Conference - will be held on November 9th in Smithville. This year's theme is "I’m Glad You Asked: How Good Questions Turn Doubt to Faith".  More information and a registration link can be found on the Apologetics Conference 2024 Website. Registration is required so that Smithville can make adequate plans for food, materials, and staffing.
